Thanks to PAA I was able to do two of things that I love doing the most at the same time: dance and travel. The dance modules that I took in Roehampton challenged me as a dancer with no technique. During the last quarter of my year in London, I managed to be a part of Company 68 (of Studio 68 London) as an understudy. This wouldn’t be possible if not for PAA!

My semester at Roehampton was a life-changing experience. With the incredible help of PAA, I was able to spend five indescribable months studying theatre in London. I met people from all over the world, saw game-changing theatre all over the city, and learned so much not only about theatre, but also myself.

“I really enjoyed this program. You will learn a lot about the theatre industry and what it is actually like to work as an actor. It was incredible to work with actual West End performers and learn from their experiences. My favorite thing about this program, though, was going with a group of other people and getting to know them over the course of the three weeks. You really become like a family and grow as performers together. It made the experience so much more worthwhile to come out of it with friends who share your passion for the art form.”

I loved this program. I learned more than I possibly imagined I could in two weeks. The training was exceptional. The teachers were extremely commuted to us and friendly. Our location was great and the group was awesome. The schedule was perfect, as it was demanding while giving us time to have fun in London. The shows we saw were strong. Just overall an awesome experience that I’ll never forget.

“Having the opportunity to work with professionals that were currently performing in West End shows was so unique, and it really helps you learn what they have to do on a daily basis. We got to learn choreography from active West End shows, and then in some cases went to see the shows and could see what we’d learned being performed.”
