Introduction to Dance Science

This module offers an introduction to the growing field of Dance Science and builds on foundations laid in the first year module Investigating Dance Practice. Current research and understanding in Dance Science will be investigated with particular emphasis on implications for the safe teaching and practice of dance. Students will be expected to apply this understanding to the assessment of their own practice as well as that of others.
