“The Performing Arts Abroad program allowed me to go to Barcelona, which was an experience that changed my life. Being in a different culture where Spanish and Catalan are the first language, arriving 30 minutes later to events is okay, and having no dryer, etc. made me more open-minded about what I have in America and being around others who may not be American or speak my language. I am thankful for the experience because I am a better person because of this summer internship!”
