The purpose of the seminar is to introduce students with special interest in music theory in more advanced analytical methods and systems. Topics may include Post Tonal Theory, Schenkerian analysis and History of the Music Theory. Post Tonal Theory refers to atonal and 12 tone music with an emphasis in compositions by Schoenberg, Berg, Webern and Stravinsky.
