A Message from our Director – October 2011

Here at Performing Arts Abroad, we believe that performance is the best window into culture.  Whether you are studying abroad for a semester, interning with a company for a few months, or volunteering with a community organization for a few weeks, you will find that the transformative power of music, dance, and theater will give you a unique understanding of the culture in which you are immersed.  Society is built on stories.  Our job as artists is to tell those stories as clearly and powerfully as we possibly can.  What better way to do this than to collaborate with artists all over the world who share that same vision?  So join us!  Teach, learn, discover, inspire, and be inspired.  All the world’s a stage.
