The end of August is always such an exciting time of year! The summer is coming to a close, and we get to celebrate all of the fantastic accomplishments from all of our participants on their summer programs around the world. We also get to reconnect with faculty and students on campuses as another school year gets started.
This summer, we had over 80 participants in 9 of our destinations, participating in volunteer, internship, training, and group programs. We had volunteers engaging with schools and community organizations in music, dance, and theater in Costa Rica, Galapagos, Ecuador, Kenya, and South Africa. We had interns gaining valuable skills for their careers in cities such as Barcelona, London, Florence, Rome, Quito, and White River, South Africa. We had nearly 25 performers training in musical theatre on London’s West End or acting with the esteemed Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
It was a busy and productive summer, and one of my favorite activities recently has been scrolling through our Tag Board to see all the exciting pictures and video clips posted to social media by our participants. Give it a shot!
As we turn our attention toward the Fall and reaching out to students as they begin their semester, I am energized by these stories and experiences, and excited to begin interviewing the next wave of Performing Arts Abroad participants!
As always, I welcome you to e-mail me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding our programs and how to get involved. For a full list of locations where we offer programs, please see below.
